How can you become an Advocates volunteer?
Just ask...join our membership!
1. Membership includes brochures for YOUR local animal shelter for your distribution. Joining our membership helps keep shelter dog adoption at the forefront whether thru printed material or other forms of media, promoting ADOPTION IS THE OPTION.
2.We want people to feel like they are an active part of helping shelter dogs, whether we can answer questions, help with current volunteer programs or just be supportive that is what Advocates is about, helping communities help adopt their shelter dogs.
If you are a supporting business, send us your widget and we will post it proudly, saying you support your local animal shelter dogs for adoption!
3. Help raise awareness by distributing flyers, take or send photos of shelter events in your area, create a page on our website for your shelter.Give your community more personality profile information about your shelter dogs, thru Advocates website.
4. Do you have an event planned at your shelter, let people know about it!
5. Most of all become an ADVOCATE for your shelter dogs, volunteer and encourage participation!
In our depressed economy, if your unemployed, waiting for a job, volunteer! Don't sit home, come out and meet others with a common interest ! You never know what leads you may find!
